While on vacation in the summer of 2014 a trip to the ER revealed that I had a brain tumor, aka Harriet.  God graciously put me into the hands of the surgeon Dr. Mc Dermott, who is the teaching professor for the kind of brain tumor I have(meningioma) at UCSF.  Dr. McDermott operated and removed the tumor.  But the next summer Harriet started to grow again so I underwent a radiation procedure called gamma knife radiation.  We were coming upon 2 years without any growth but the last MRI June 15th revealed a new growth. After meeting with Dr. McDermott, it was determined that a second surgery followed by 6 weeks of radiation is needed.  Surgery is set for July 26th with radiation following a few weeks after.  God has been so faithful to us and my prayer is that through this He will be magnified and that the world will see the riches of His goodness and grace.
