Diagnosis:October 30, 2014 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma ER+ PR+ HER2+. The area measures 10cm x 3cm x 4cm. The Her2-possitive marker means this in an aggressive cancer. The cancer is growing so fast there is actually necrosis within the tumor as it is growing faster than it can feed itself. (Gross, I know)
Welcome to my journey through breast cancer. I was diagnosed 6 months after my 40th birthday after going in for what I thought was muscle pain on the inner aspect of my left breast.
I am number three of 7 children in a family with no history of breast cancer. I am blessed with three biological children and two step children. As I write this my kids are 24, 20, 19, 9, and 6. I turned 40 in April and have spent the last year and a half happier than I have been in many years. I want to document this journey as raw and real as I can.
