On Wed June 6th, our mom had surgery to repair a tear in her colon, she was recovering well until Tues June 12th when Dr's discovered a second tear that also needed surgical repair. Going through a second surgery in such a short amount of time really wiped her out. She was on a ventilator for 2 days following surgery.as of now she is recovering well but is still very tired. We expect her to move to a Skilled nursing center sometime next week. For now visits have been limited to family members as she tires easily. We appreciate all the support of her friends and family through this ordeal and time of healing. We thought by starting a website; it would be the best way to keep everyone updated on her status.
