Our aunt Debbie had a stroke on her 62nd birthday   this July month.  She had a fabulous day on Saturday celebrating with family. On Sunday morning, she had her bags packed to go home. She was visiting her younger sister and nephew. Her younger sister insisted they go to the hospital or the clinic when they figured out Deb could not speak.  Deb decided she wanted to drive the 3 hours back home.  She made it back home and said she was safe. Later on in the afternoon, her sisters could not reach her. She lives in an apartment and was not answering calls or texts.  The next morning, the police did a Wellness check on her and found her unable to write or speak. Currently, she is at Avera . We sadly  discovered that the left side of her brain was badly damaged and she may never speak or move her right arm again.  Deb is the most independent, sassiest woman you will ever meet.  It has been very difficult seeing her not be her. Please pray for Deb! She has a long journey to recovery. We as a family are planning to get her the best care possible. The specialty clinic will be an extra expense for her and the family.  I believe with a lots of love and support she will continue her recovery.  Any donation you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
