Most of you are aware by now that Debbie was recently diagnosed with uterine leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive soft tissue cancer, following a routine hysterectomy for a presumed fibroid. We are currently meeting with experts and gathering information to develop a treatment plan. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of encouragement and support and figured this would be the easiest way to keep everyone updated. Debbie is feeling great and is ready to take this on, often saying "this cancer may be rare and aggressive, but so am I"!
