Update on David’s battle to KCB... once again thank you for all the support, prayers and Love... Day one of Chemo has started so far not to bad, it was a long day but it’s closed and in the books! Woke up to heavy rains and the drive in from where we stopped for the night. Friends of the family, Bob and Paula Wolsted’s beautiful home in The Woodlands, normally takes an hour but took two! Got to MDA at 7:30am and first had labs, than met with the Chemo team, to go over everything and prep me for what’s ahead! 😐😒 I started treatment at 11:00 and finished at 8 PM!! Glad I brought my computer to work. Funny every time I was talking to some Mom would jump in thinking I was talking to her, God bless her she is the Best, but Mom when the head set is on I’m on a conference call not talking to you about Intelligent Virtual Agents. When she isn’t watch home renovation shows, sports, she is knitting these gloves to sell back home at her Church bazaar. I’m so blessed she is with me being my rock, but she still thinks I’m Brooks age. The MDA team sent me home with a bunch of pills to take and a fancy automatic drug dispenser attached to my fat belly! Got to work on that! I was told day 3 through 10 are the hardest. The next trip to Houston will be on 3/19.
Thanks again for all the love support an prayers, it would be next to impossible to do this without God strength and all of you behind me!
