It has been quite a journey for Steve and Dawn Oswald since around mid-August 2018.  Dawn has been experiencing weakness and numbness in her legs since the end of August.  Her physical ability to stand and walk became increasingly difficult over this time.  Her condition  continued to deteriorate to the point that she couldn't stand or walk without a walker.

Dawn's mobility continues to spiral downward and Steve took her to Lancaster General Hospital Emergency room on Saturday evening, October 13, 2018.  Dawn has met with several specialists and neurologists and has had about every test that is possible to try to grasp what is happening to her body.  By Tuesday, October 16, 2018 LGH specialists decided that the best course of action is for Dawn to be moved to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.  They do not have solid answers, but are narrowing it down to a problem in the spinal cord.   Dawn is currently waiting on a bed to become available and then will be transported by ambulance to their facility.

Please pray for answers, emotional, and physical strength for both Steve and Dawn at this time.  They appreciate your prayers and support at this very difficult and uncertain time in their lives.
