We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.For several weeks, Dawn had been having intense back pains that hadn't improved after several chiropractic and physical therapy sessions.  On February 12th, she was at home when her back went out and left her unable to move.  She was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Carmel where she had several MRI and CAT scans done.  The scans showed that she had lesions/spots in her breast, sternum, spleen, and back.  She also has a compression fracture in her spine. She has now been moved to St. Vincent on 86th Street to the oncology unit where they will continue to run tests to determine what the tumors are and how to proceed with treatment.
