Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

As most of you know Dawn was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002. She had a mastectomy, chemo and radiation during that time. She did great and was cancer free for 13 years.
In 2015, it was discovered that the cancer was back and had metastasized to her bones. She once again came home from China and began the journey of treatment we are now in.
In November of this year the cancer again took on a new complication. She has developed leptomeningeal carcinoma. This is a rare complication that only 2 to 5 percent of breast cancer patients get. There is no cure and really no proven treatments.
She is in an experimental trial that may have some hope for extending her time for some months and maybe years.( That's the beauty of experiments)
We covet your prayers as we journey through this time, sometimes crying, many times laughing but always trusting our Heavenly Father for His tender care and mercy.
