Dawn Boyer

In late September, 2016 Dawn was diagnosed with colon cancer. It had spread to liver, lymph nodes, and one lung.

I (her husband David) decided to take to Facebook to keep friends and family updated.

That worked well, until someone used my profile picture (of Dawn and I together) to create a false account in my name, and begin to refriend many of my 400 people and try to get them involved in some sort of money making scheme, disguised as some sort of government grant opportunity.

I deactivated my account, and from what I hear, the fake "me" is still out there trying to con people.
