On Sept. 20, 2018,  our dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung and bone cancer.  Stage 4 meaning that the cancer has metastasized, or spread, beyond the lungs into other areas of the body.  As most of you know, he was the caregiver for our precious momma who has passed on March 30, 2019.  They celebrated 50 years of marriage on Dec. 28th, with a love that was so contagious!  Since his diagnosis, he has encountered many trips to his oncologist in Duluth.  He has undergone several chemo and immunotherapy sessions, radiation treatments, blood transfusions, right and left pleurx catheters, and most recent a subxiphoid pericardial window.  He is retaining a lot of fluid bilaterally around his lungs and around his heart. The cause of this is still unknown at this time.  He knows the Lord is in control, and he makes no mistakes.  Continued prayers are always greatly appreciated!  Some of his favorite verses are Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Philippians 4:13,  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  Thank you for visiting.
