Please look to our GoFundMe for any donations. Thank you!

David Swan had open heart surgery on Tuesday, November 28th 2017. He is still in the hospital two weeks later and continuing to be taken care by the staff at UNC Hospitals. Before this surgery occurred, he was working two jobs and had a minor heart attack, that was the second this year, which resulted in him needing this surgery. He was scheduled for a potential double or triple bypass, but instead received an Aortic Valve and partial Aorta replacement. This was due to an aneurysm in the Aorta. Now his recovery is going to be slower than expected, due to complications.

We are trying to raise money to help Dave pay for bills because he will not be able to work anytime soon. If you can, please contribute to help a member of your community as he recovers from this devastating experience. To do so visit the "Ways To Help" section of this site for our GoFundMe.

As soon as he is able to return home, there is a plan to set up a food schedule with his new dietary needs. At that time we will ask for volunteers to bring meals or hang out with him.

We wish you all Happy Holidays and if you would like us to pass any messages of love onto him, we are more than happy to do so.

Thanks for your support,

Dave, Maia, Ezra, and family.
