Dave has so many friends and relatives that keeping everybody informed via text or phone calls is just not practical. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Dave was admitted to Unity Hospital (Park Ridge) on Friday September 1. Since then he has had a couple CT scans and an MRI. The results from the imaging showed large tumors in the brain and another one in the lung. A biopsy of the mass in his lung is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday September 5. He will probably be in the hospital until Wednesday or Thursday then we are hoping that he'll be discharged. It will take another week after that for the results to be reviewed by his team of doctors and for treatment options to be presented to him and his family.
