Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. In August 2020 after David experienced several days of migraine like headaches and dizziness when standing, an MRI discoverd a brain tumor in the upper, back right of his head. It was completley removed in August. The tumor was a grade 4 glioblastoma wild type.  David healed great from the surgery and completed six weeks of Radiation and Chemotherapy (pill form) on Election Day in November. Through the winter he had 2 out of 6 rounds chemotherapy pill form that was expected to resume after his lab values stabilized and a routine MRI on 3/17/21.  He experienced muscle twitching in his right leg, a few days prior to the MRI, may have been a focal seizure. The MRI on 3/17/21 revealed 2 new tumors in the left parietal lobe. David has opted for no further treatment and wants comfort measures. He will begin Hospice services 3/24/21.
