On April 22nd, David and his wife Bev were involved in an accident with their ranger. They were both trapped under the ranger after it flipped while they were chasing a raccoon, luckily Bev was able to reach David's phone to call Adam, their son, who lives a mile and a half away to come help get the ranger off of them but not before they spent significant time being trapped and crushed by the machine. The ranger was directly on top of David's chest and abdominal area causing significant damage to his internal organs and ribs. Bev's leg was bruised pretty badly but she didn't require any further treatment she just needs some time to heal. David was transported to Aberdeen where he remains in ICU, he has a broken collarbone, 15 broken ribs, a bruised lung, lacerations on his kidney, liver and the Dr's said his spleen basically exploded but remains in the capsule. Their main concern now is keeping the internal bleeding under control and pain management so that he can rest and heal.
