David Furst

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  As Many of you know Dave got sick while in Florida., Debbie finally got him to go to ER.  Cancer was discovered.  They packed up their trailer and Mike & Maureen arranged for flights to Grand Rapids.  Unfortunately, Maureen has had a vast experience of dealing with family with Cancer so she has been steering Dave and Debbie to the right places.  Thank you Mike & Maureen.  Dave has had several bumps in the road so far on his journey, but he is a fighter.  Guess being Special Forces in Viet Nam and all that training.... he is not going to let this cruel enemy CANCER win.  Dave moved from Butterworth to Mary Free Bed yesterday and will continue his treatments and therapy .  Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts, support , calls and cards.
