Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On Monday 7-23-18, while at work, David became dizzy and had blurred vision.  He was taken to Lake Forest Northwestern Hospital where he underwent testing that revealed a malignant brain tumor called a Glioma.  David was transported via ambulance to Nothwestern Hospital downtown Chicago where he is undergoing surgery to remove the tumor.  Surgery began at 12:45 this afternoon, and is expected to take approximately 4 hours.  David will spend the following 24 hours in ICU and is expected to return home within 2-3 days.  Once he is cleared by the doctor to begin the next phase, he will then have chemotherapy and radiation.   David is expected to make a full recovery, with no permanent deficits.  As you probably know, nothing is definitive until the mass is removed, and results are back from pathology.   We will be using this CaringBridge to keep our family and friends informed of David’s progress.  Please continue to pray for God’s healing grace,  guidance and love.  Thank you all for your loving support.
