The cancer journey continues. Unfortunately due to the radiation long term side effects, the jaw bone is decaying.  Dave will be undergoing a very large surgery in the coming months, date TBD. They will be removing the entire jawbone to include all the existing metal, removing one of the 2 bones in the lower leg to replace the jawbone and relocating muscle tissue and much more along with a Trach and feeding tube for a few months post op while he heals. This will be a very intensive surgery, 12+ hours along with 2 great surgeons. Once we have the date and hospital, we will update.
