David Booth

My cancer story began in August, 2017. I went for a routine CT scan with contrast to find out why I was coughing. My creatinine number was 7.8, which was way higher than many dialysis patients. In fact, I was in kidney failure and didn’t know it.

I was admitted to the hospital, where it was eventually determined that I had multiple myeloma and pneumonia. Eight days later, I left the hospital with my world upside down.

My numbers continued to improve, and they started me on weekly chemo treatments.
