Dave was diagnosed with a brain tumor on December 11th. He had a craniotomy done December 16th. They were only able to remove 50% of the tumor which was the size of a baseball. We got the pathology report back on the 18th which confirmed the tumor is a glioblastoma stage 4. We met with both oncology and the radiation team. The plan is to start both radiation and chemo as soon as his incision and skull heal. He will do a very aggressive treatment radiation for 30 days 5 days a week. He will also start on a chemo pill. Treatments will take place in Aberdeen. On December 22nd Dave had a stroke which put him back in Sioux Falls. Dave did great in rehab and was able to come home last Thursday. He will continue out patient rehab with PT and OT in Redfield.
