Through this blog Dad has been described as magnetic, strong as an ox and gentle as a bear, caring, large hearted and the list goes on. Why do these things happen? There is never an answer but all we can hope is that the reason turns out to be to give us all an eye-opening experience and to remind us to appreciate the little things in life. Mom and Dad have been discussing their plans when Dad is healthy and of course it is to travel, travel, travel. If I can say one thing about my parents, it is that they do not sit around to wait for life to happen...they absolutely seize the day. We look forward to hearing all of their travel stories and for now, I look forward to sharing with you how we have overcome this mountain we all have to climb.
