Dave found himself Ill on Thursday, June 9th early in the am. It seemed like a normal stomach bug that would run its course but as the day went on, the pain became unbearable and a visit to the ER was eminent. The thought was that his condition was a potential appendicitis and the ER Doctor ordered a cat scan that would deliver a mind blowing diagnosis. Dave and Jenn sat in disbelief as the doctor communicated the discovery of a cancerous tumor in Dave's colon and other lesions on his lung and liver. Now, the fight begins.
Dave is scheduled for surgery on Monday, June 13th, to remove the mass in his colon and explore the other spots which appeared on the scan.
