Dave originally visited the doctor in May because his right side was weak, he had lost his taste, and his language was slurred. After more examinations he was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma  brain cancer. He has persevered through chemo, methotrexate,  and radiation treatments at Regions Hospital.  He completed his last treatment, radiation, on October 20th, and celebrated with burgers from Culver's! On Sunday, October  22nd, Dave fell and hit his head. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He thankfully did not experience any severe head trauma, but they kept him due to his very high and irregular heartbeat.  All the treatments have  had little success. The symptoms he has from the the brain tumor have continuously worsened. The treatments have also irreversibly weakened his body.  On Friday, October 27th, Dave  returned home and entered hospice. His bed looks out over their beautiful, peaceful backyard. We appreciate your love and prayers.
