On Sunday, March 25th, Dave was driving when he told Denise he was having a hard time with his vision. Denise felt like something was off and rushed him to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Dave lost consciousness on the way to the hospital. Once they arrived, a CT scan showed a spontaneous brain bleed. They had to do an emergency tracheotomy and the neurosurgeon did a procedure to drain the blood from the brain. This procedure will help eliminate the pressure caused by the bleed. After he was stable, they moved him to the ICU where they will continue to monitor him and drain the fluid.
Our dad is the strongest person we know, and anyone that has ever met him knows that he is AWESOME! We would appreciate any thoughts you'd like us to share with him. He is still sedated, however we have been talking to him and we are hopeful that he can hear us. Please continue to send your prayers and positive thoughts!
