Hello family and friends.  Dave and I decided this would be the best way to keep everyone in the loop as he continues battling this ugly disease.
As most of you know, Dave was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bile Duct Cancer which has metastasized into his lymphnodes.  It is inoperable.
Lots of things have happened over the course of the last couple months, but I won't bore you with all the details.
He is on his second cycle of chemo and after he completes it, at the end of July, he will have a CT scan to see if it has shrunk his tumors and lymphnodes.  If so, he will continue with this type of chemo.  If not, he will be looking at Targeted therapy and/or Immunology.  There are also some trials that are being conducted, so he might end up doing one of those, but time will tell.
This type of cancer is rare so they don't know a lot about it, but they are trying to.
We want to thank all of you, from the bottom of our hearts, for all your prayers, love and support.  You really will never know what it means to us, so thank you.
