Life with DBS is good and it just keeps getting better!&nbsp; Looking back to the September surgery date, we can gratefully and happily say that this DBS journey has been completely worth it.&nbsp; Things that most of us take for granted were becoming harder and harder for David before DBS: putting on a coat and zipping it, opening a coke can (which was really limiting since he drinks coke daily), and getting dressed- even moving about was getting harder.&nbsp; A couple weeks ago he told me that he can do all of these things now, without any help!&nbsp; We had no idea that DBS would bring this much gain and we're SO grateful for this process and the team of doctors at Henry Ford who made all of this happen!&nbsp;&nbsp; Thanks to everyone who's been praying for him along this journey!
