David Blackburn Dave Kicks Cancer

David was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in September 2019 right after we returned from our 25th anniversary trip to Hawaii.  He began a clinical trial and has undergone 8 four week cycles of chemotherapy. His oncologist was not pleased with the trial's final results, so another round of standard of care chemotherapy was prescribed. This last round kicked his myeloma numbers way down (Yay!). He is going into the hospital on Saturday, August 29th for a bone marrow transplant that we believe will put him in remission.
