In trying to treat symptoms of what was initially diagnosed as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, a tumor was discovered in or on my pancreas. The biopsy showed it to be a Pancreatic NeuroEndrocrine Tumor (NET). Of the 2 types of pancreatic tumors, this one is 'the least lethal.' The initial diagnosis of a NET was made on December 5th. Much has been done in a short period of time. Much more to do.
