Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Dave Dunton. We (Dave's children) have created this site to keep family and friends updated in one place.

After a year of health issues and countless doctor visits/tests/hospital visits, we learned on July 20, 2018 that Dave has Pancreatic Cancer. Together with his family and friends, he has begun treatment at AAMC under the care of Dr. Ravin Garg to fight this awful disease. Dr. Garg has put Dave on a treatment schedule consisting of a 5 hour chemo infusion at the infusion center, followed by a 46 hour infusion via pump, which he will have at home. This treatment is bi-weekly for 3 months. The goal is for the treatment to shrink the tumor so that he can have a Whipple procedure.  This procedure is a complex operation to remove the head of the pancreas. He is in good spirits and ready to fight. We of course will be at his side at every turn.

We'll be updating this site weekly to share health and general updates with you so that Donna can focus on her #1 job, keeping him healthy! It would be so encouraging for you to leave messages of support and well wishes here for Dave. We will make sure he's checking them regularly.

Thank you again for all of your prayers, love and support for our dad.
