Dave was having difficulty swallowing around Thanksgiving. He went in for an EGD on December 14 and was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the esophagus. We are very confident in our team of Doctors that are leading the way to being cured! The plan is to have 5 1/2 weeks of radiation and once a week , 3 hour chemotherapy treatment. Dave will have another PET scan approx. 2 weeks post chemo and radiation to see if he responded to the treatments. Surgery will be scheduled after the PET scan.
