I asked my family to update you on my status. At 82 years of age, I found out a couple days ago that I have advanced stage prostate cancer that has spread some to other areas.
After surgery removed as much as possible last Friday, I'm now getting a 5-day round of daily focused radiation therapy and monthly anti-hormone shots to try to halt this tumor from growing. The goal is to treat/slow down not to cure and I'm doing what I can to eat, sleep, drink and get moving again to get my energy back.
I've lived a full life with all of you that are invited to this private website. I'd love to connect with you before I reunite with my loved ones as Jesus has promised at some point. Meanwhile I'd love to hear from you--a card, some flowers w/ a note, pictures posted here, some notes emailed with shared memories and what's been new in your lives. Anything would be helpful and fun to see!
