Dave tested positive for Covid on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. On Thursday, September 2nd he was admitted to Mercy Hospital due to low oxygen and having trouble breathing. Upon arrival, he was immediately put on a ventilator and under a medically induced coma. Dave's medical team wants his friends and family to understand he is critically ill. The "big picture" is that Dave is trying to recover from the damage the virus has caused. His heart is in very weak condition and his doctors aren't sure his heart will be able to withstand the stress his body is under. We are told this is sort of an hour-by-hour, day-by-day status - there may be slight improvements and it can also go downhill very quickly. Unfortunatley, there is no visitation allowed.
