This page has been established to keep the friends and family of Daryl Hane updated as he battles the monster known as COVID-19.

Daryl and I both contracted the COVID virus in mid-January.   I was the fortunate one.  After about 10 days I started regaining strength /energy and was on the road to recovery.  Daryl has not been as fortunate. 

We thought we had done everything right.  There was no better mask wearer than Daryl Hane.  We sanitized, we stayed home, we didn’t eat in restaurants, we social distanced.  But, the virus still found us.  So, to anyone who thinks this virus is just a few germs, or that a mask is unnecessary or  infringement on your personal choices, or doesn’t think they can get that sick, remember you aren’t using best practices just for you, you are doing it for the Daryl Hane’s of the world. 

Many caring folks have asked:  “What can I do?” -  Pray, pray harder and pray without ceasing.  His life is in the hands of the Greatest Physician as well as those angels here on Earth who are providing nursing and medical care for him.

Stay safe and make good choices so your family doesn’t have to go through the living nightmare we are experiencing.  Thank you for your prayers.
