Daryl Dvergsten

Thought we would start this for Daryl since I have received numerous calls and text messages about how how he is doing and I have a hard time keeping up.  He has been dealing with a heart murmur for the last several months and if anyone knows him, he can be a little stubborn because he does not want to put anyone out. Well last Tuesday, November 6th he was having some dizziness and shortness of breath so he went into the VA clinic in Montevideo - where more testing was done. They were very good to him and advised that he needed to go to St. Cloud because his symptoms became systematic when he was resting, not just when he was active. He was taken by ambulance and that is where is at. He will be having open heart surgery on Thursday, November 15th. They will be doing bypass surgery and replacing his aortic valve. Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery! We may need some duct tape when he gets home so we can keep in inactive for a few weeks!
