Darrell has been diagnosed with lung cancer. He is currently staying in Mora, MN with Brenda and is receiving treatment at the Coborn Cancer Center in St. Cloud. We are very grateful for all the doctors and caregivers that work there, and for the opportunity use their available services. They are an amazing and caring group of people that have a very difficult job to do everyday.
Darrell will begin radiation to stop the growth of a tumor on his hip joint and then will move to chemotherapy. He is in a great deal of pain and isn't able to walk or stand on his own. We hope that radiation relieves him of the pain, and gives him strength for upcoming treatments.
We ask that you pray for the dedicated doctors and caregivers, that they are blessed with the knowledge and compassion to treat Darrell, and to please keep our family in your thoughts, as we navigate through this terrible disease.
