Darrell Harrison was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer) in March/April 2016. He has undergone chemo, radiation, surgeries, etc throughout the last year, only to have 2 more tumors arise almost a year later, exactly. Those tumors proved to be inoperable, and treatment options were limited. Darrell has chosen not to try treatments anymore, and is quickly progressing through the stages. It has come to the point that Darrell requires care around the clock due to symptoms including: paranoia, depression, weakness mixed with intermittent numbness, loss of appetite and inability to feed himself properly. He is still mobile, and tries to walk up/down the stairs of his home. We are working to get him either 24/7 home care or into a nursing facility where there is no option of stairs! His wife was let go, and carries him on COBRA insurance which is very pricey and does not cover a lot that he needs. Darrell's family is reaching out to friends, family, corporations, charities, etc to try to find funding to help with his situation. If you feel it in your heart to donate and/or share his story, it is appreciated more than you may ever know.
