I was diagnosed with Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia in January 2015.  The doctors said at that time it was not at a point of needing treatment.   Then in December 2015, things had changed.  I was sent down to Mayo and was told I needed a stem cell transplant.  The first thing was finding a donor.  My son, Brandon is going to be my donor.  I had 8 cycles  of chemo at the Altru Cancer Center from February thru September and am now in Rochester getting ready for the transplant.  I am so thankful that Brandon is  doing this for me!  I also am so grateful and humbled by all the support I have gotten up to this point and ask you to keep me & my family in your prayers!  I read this prayer one day "The light of God surrounds me, the love of God enfolds me, the power of God protects me, the presence of God watches over me....wherever I am, God is."
