On February 5th, Darla, Doug, and Steven's lives forever changed. They were involved in an accident were a vehicle struck them while they were attempting to get Steven's car unstuck in the driveway. Steven was checked at the seen and did not need to be sent to the hospital. Doug was sent to Hutchinson Hospital where he was looked at and did not have life threatening injuries. He is doing okay and home recovering. This is a traumatic event for them and they are still piecing it all together. Darla was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital were she remains in critical condition. The full extent of her injuries and prognosis is still unknown but we do know that she has brain and spinal injuries. Darla is going to have a long road ahead of her. Continued prayers for her strength, healing and recovery are appreciated.
Please say prayers over her family, loved ones and friends as they process and navigate through this journey. And please pray for the doctors and medical team as they provide her care. With the long recovery comes a lot of medical expenses.
