The beginning i have been dealing with kidney stones for a few years. At one of my kidney stone appointments my doctor ordered a ultrasound of my kidney to see if I had passed any more stones since my last appointment. The nurse who did my ultrasound took a picture of my liver. It was read by the liver doctor who informed me they found a mass. After taking a biopsy the told me I had cancer. After lots of other testing including a pet scan the believe my cancer is contained in the liver and has not spread to other organs. The first step in my fight will be surgery on January 22nd Friday at Sanford in fargo where they will be taking half of my liver out. Thank you for the prayers and well wishes. The power of prayer is amazing. Please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I begin my fight. I have a wonderful family, friends, and community.
