After the first of the year, Dan began experiencing difficulty with mobility and his thought processes.  In March, with continued decline, they began testing for a cause.  Over the course of the past couple months, he has had many tests and was scheduled at Rochester Mayo on Tuesday, June 13.  On Saturday, June 10th, Dan had a seizure at home.  Cindy was with him and was able to call 911 immediately.  The Cokato ambulance responded in minutes and took great care of him on his transport.  He was taken to Hutchinson and airlifted to Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  He is currently in ICU under sedation while they run further tests to determine the cause. The fantastic neurology team, here at Abbott, is determined to find a diagnosis.  It sounds like he will be here an extended amount of time.  Thank you for all of the prayers, concern, messages, calls, and texts.  Cindy is reading the messages, but is unable to respond while in ICU.  We plan to use this site to communicate information as it becomes available.   We have faith in God's loving plan.  Isaiah 40:31.
