<p>Prayers are answered! All the biopsies came back negative. Learning something new all the time. An inflamed lymph node (like a possible virus in his system) can show increased metabolic activity, leading to a positive PET scan result. A biopsy is then required to determine if it is actually cancer. Up to this point, all we knew is if something lit up, it was cancer. Now we know!</p><p>Dan continues to heal after the procedure. They will follow up with another PET scan in May to keep a close eye on him just in case. Thank you all for the prayers and encouragement. You are all priceless!</p>
