Danna Morris

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  As many of you know Danna was recently diagnosed with Abdominal Mesothelioma.  She has been a long journey these  past 4 weeks. She has been in and out of the hospital.  She has a lot of abdominal pain. In the midst of all of this she also had that nasty flu.   She had a laparoscopy (surgery to look inside her abdomen) three weeks ago.  The diagnosis was a difficult one because of the rarity of this cancer. We finally got the answer last Monday.   Currently she is in UCI.  The plan is to have more scans done to see the extent of the cancer and to do surgery to remove as much of the cancer as possible.  After that she will have chemo in her abdomen. Please pray for her comfort and her spirit. Pray that she will trust in God for the outcome and for her salvation. If you want to reach her call UCI and ask for tower three bed 8. Currently her cell phone is broken. We are working on that and I will post here when she is up and running.   I will try to update often. It's been a roller coaster ride we never wanted to take.  We are totally trusting God to guide all of our decisions and know that He is the master physician.  Your prayers for Danna are a treasure to us.  Trusting in the Lord, Lonnie Nestie
