On May 12, 2019, Dan Meyer was involved in an automobile accident. We have very little details regarding the accident which is currently under investigation.  He received multiple injuries and was airlifted from the accident site to a Level 1 Trauma Center in Minneapolis, MN.  

Upon arrival,  Dan was assessed for brain, heart and lung damage and those test results showed no damage to these areas.  Dan underwent immediate surgery for internal injuries to his abdomen.  A flank hernia (diaphragm tear) was repaired and a mesenteric (abdominal) hematoma was observed and continues to be monitored.

Fractures include: multiple ribs, left femur (thigh), right pelvis, and lumbar disc (lower back).  He also has an open wound on his lower left leg which may require additional procedures.  With the severity of the incident, his body sustained a lot of trauma.  

Tuesday, May 14th, Dan underwent a 2nd surgery to repair the multiple fractures in his left femur.

At this time, his wife Trisha is with him around the clock.  One of Dan's brothers and sister-in-law are tag teaming to make sure Trish is never alone. 

Dan is unable to receive any visitors or phone calls at this time.  At this time your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. We will do our best to keep this page updated.
