I was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in December 2012.  It is an extremely aggressive form of the cancer.  It is also terminal.

While "normal" prostate cancer comes on later in life and takes years to develop, mine was of a rarer type that came early and only takes only months.  The oncologists I've seen through my journey have all agreed that by the time the symptoms showed, it was already too late for a curative treatment.

To those who are new to this site, I'm very open and honest - to a fault.  I use this blog to keep people informed, to provide an "inside view," and to therapeutically emote (whine - which I do, also to a fault).  Please take a moment to sign the guestbook or leave a comment, I'm nosy and like to know who reads my whiny little blog.  Thank you for stopping by!  Take care and God bless.
