Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Hi everyone... as many of you know, Daniel passed away in his sleep on July 10, 2019.  Family and friends are still trying to process, so we created a space for this to happen. Please check this site for updates on gatherings, donations and remembrances.  Daniel's Aunts Amy & Christy will be updating as needed.

Daniel's siblings, Joey and Margaret have some thoughts to share with you.

Daniel was THE BEST big brother in the world and I'm so honored and proud to be his little brother. I always felt cool when I would be with Daniel in a group of people or out and about or whatever it was because he was always the life of the party and owned the room. He was the coolest guy around. He LIVED so good. He taught me so much about life and everything I am today is because of him. I looked up to him every single day and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. He will always be my big brother and I’m so glad I get to say that. I talked to him every day about life, work, food, music or whatever it was and I’m gonna miss that the most. Daniel, I love you man. You had such an impact on this world. You had sooooo many different groups of friends and you brought sooooo many different people together. You gave me so many friends. How did you do it all? You amaze me man. You loved everybody and everybody loved you too. It shows in all the posts, pics, notes, etc. I cant believe you’re really gone, but I cant wait to see you again someday.
Love Joey

Daniel was big. Daniel lived big. Daniel loved big. His heart and soul reached depths that no one can even imagine.  He LOVED nature. He LOVED working outside everyday with his best friend Joey. He LOVED driving the back roads in his truck and listening to his deep vinyl tracks. He LOVED home. He LOVED ordering one of everything off any restaurant menu just to try it all. He LOVED to give. He LOVED being a big brother and a son. He LOVED his family. He LOVED more than anything his soulmate Kati and bundle of joy Davy.
Daniel LOVED. So big. So bold. So fiercely.
Daniel Scott Paul was the best. He was the best oldest brother. The best leader. The best fun starter. The best friend to so many. He was the rock, the glue, the love that held people together.
We love you Daniel  We love you so much. I know you are in heaven, singing, dancing, eating, and LOVING so fiercely. My heart aches with so much pain that you are not here, but I cannot wait to see you again.
May we all carry your light with us and LOVE a little more like you each day.

I love you so much. ❤️Love your little sister, Margaret
