May 17, 2017 Today, we were back at Dr. Bordoni's office for follow up of his fever. Daniel weighed 132.9 which is an increase from last week so I guess the smoothies are helping. All that fruit with the extra veggies and vitamins work. His fever has plateaued. He seems to be at 99.8 to 100.8 and then will spike to over 101 every once in a while. He's been on antibiotics for a while and seems to be responding. He tried to culture his arm, but everything was drying up, so no go. Next week he will receive treatment. His white count was 4.7 up from 2.7 last week Hemoglobin 11.4 and hematocrit was 35.8. Platelets were 279,000. His blood counts are really rebounding after being so bad. After next week's treatment, we'll see what they do. Praying that this is helping. Just spending 2 hours at the office wore him out. He's cranky and grumpy. I would be also. This is something no one should ever have to go through.


We made it home and he slept.
