Dan became ill a couple weeks and went to the doctor and was hospitalized with pneumonia in Hallock for three days and then discharged to home. He returned the following Thursday to see his doctor for a follow up appointment and was immediately sent by ambulance to Grand Forks in critical condition. He has been in ICU with a fungal pneumonia since then and today is being air lifted to the Mayo to get the medication and care he needs to fight this serious illness.
