Dad's prostate cancer came back last year with metastisis to the bone (back, arm and leg). We treated things medically until last week.
Pain and nausea and weakness caused the focus to shift to hospice last week.
Dad is in home hospice now. We are just beginning to learn the system. We have a hospice bed in his apartment. Our focus is on quality time with Dad, not quantity any more. We want Dad to have most of his pain and nausea alleviated, while respecting a need for interaction with others. If you have something to say to Dad and the fa.mily you may leave comments.
Visits are nice, but should be coordinated with Rob Rob
