Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  About three weeks ago Dan lost his hearing in his left ear and also experienced ringing in his ear. He saw an ear nose and throat Dr. that put him on steroids just to see if that would take care of it.  It worked, Dan had his hearing completely back and no ringing. The Dr. wanted Dan to get an MRI anyways just to rule out a brain tumor.   The MRI came back showing a marble sized tumor resting right against Dans brain stem.  Totally separate from the ear issue.  We were then referred to Dr. Bauer a  neurosurgeon .  Dr. Bauer is very optimistic that he can just go in and remove the tumor and Dan will be completely cured. If however the tumor is attached to the brain stem things get a little more complicated. We have scheduled Daniels surgery for Wednesday November 28th at 11am.  For now we are asking for lots of prayers. To be specific please pray God takes our fear and anxiety, that this tumor is not attached to the brain stem, that it is not cancerous, and pray that God will guide Dr. Bauer as he removes this tumor .  We encourage you to visit the website for updates .  Thank you for visiting.
