Welcome to Dan's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep everyone updated about his progress as he begins his journey with a new heart. We appreciate your prayers and words of hope and encouragement. I will be writing the Journal entries until Dan is ready to write! Cheryl.
Dan received notification on Saturday morning, June 10, 2017 that a heart had been found for him . The transplant surgery began around 8 pm and was completed around 4 am, June 11, 2017. I am now with Dan in Dallas.
